Mary (Smith) Hartigan '54 owns her own business, Thomas Hartigan Enterprises, a manufacturer of ladies' swimsuits in Los Angeles, Calif. She still models at the age of 82.
Joe DeWees '59 and his wife, Becky, recently moved back to Winchester, Ill., which is near Jacksonville. Joe retired from Jacksonville School District 117 as assistant superintendent for business and treasurer. They also spend some time in The Villages, Fla.
David McElroy ’65 retired in 1997 after a series of career changes from military to insurance to banking and finally law. When not at their home in Downers Grove, Ill., or a cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin, David and his wife, Claire, enjoy travel. They have visited all continents and 60 countries. They feel learning never stops.
John Lang ’67 retired as a Lutheran pastor in 2011. He moved to Wilmette, Ill., with his wife, Nancy, to be near their daughter and family. He continues to preach at Lutheran and Episcopal churches in the area and is currently serving as interim pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evanston, Ill.
Dr. Wayne Byrnes ’72 retired in 2013 as a result of a cerebral aneurysm. He lives in Pepperell, Ma., with his wife, Linda. Their daughter, Mellisa is a professor of history at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Tx. Their son, Zachary works in retail for Lego.

Richard Montgomery ’78—during this past year Rich has received several awards. In April he received his 3rd IWCOA (Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association) Administrator of the Year Award and received the IWCOA Lifetime Achievement Award. Rich is one of only two IWCOA members to have received Coach of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Hall of Fame Induction, Man of the Year, Grand Marshal for the IHSA Individual Wrestling Championships and Lifetime Achievement awards. In May Rich received his 3rd IADA (Illinois Athletic Directors Association) Division 4 Athletic Director of the Year award. In October Rich will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum— Illinois Chapter. Rich lives in Rock Falls Ill., with his wife Peggy.
Christine (Macchi) Kostecki '82 is a surgical technician at St. Joseph's Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Mo. Chris and her husband, Jeffrey, live in Troy, Mo. They have three children, Victoria, Paityn and Jared, as well as a granddaughter, Ann-Marie, born in 2009.
David Bradshaw '84 and his wife, Wendi Dicken-Bradshaw, live in Lake St. Louis, Mo., with their three children, Matthew, Molly and Mark. All three are attending college at Lindenwood University, Regent University and Liberty University and graduate by December 2015. Davis has been working as a private corporate financial consultant since 2012, and most recently accepted positions teaching in the MBA programs at Webster University and Lindenwood University. Wendi is a professional musician and actress, and is currently serving as the artistic director for the Mozingo Center for Creative Arts.
Kurt '84 and Gina Sangmeister will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary October 6, 2014. Kurt is the administrator for the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, located in Joliet, Ill. Gina is a fingerprint technician for the Illinois State Police. They reside in New Leonx, Ill.
Dixie (French) Connell '89 teaches elementary music at Francis Howell School District and has an award-winning before-school choir that has been to numerous competitions. D. Larry McSpadden has both critiqued and has been a vital clinician to their success. She has obtained two masters' degrees: Vocal Pedagogy from Webster University and Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.
Cindy (Groeninger) Jordan '89 and her husband, John live in Springfield, Ill. where Cindy is a practicing Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Owner of Balancing Touch, Inc. for sixteen years. They have one cat, Kudu. They enjoy scuba diving (John is a PADI instructor and Cindy is a Dive Master for their local dive shop Adventure Dive & Travel), rock climbing, CrossFit, camping and hiking, and trail running. Tony Francis '91 is starting his fifth year as head women's basketball coach at Lindenwood University. Tony lives in St. Charles, Mo., with his wife, Rhonda, and daughters, Lexis and Arianna.
Kristin (Dodge) Hyde '92 is the executive assistant to the chief executive officer/credentialing specialist of the Medical Staff at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Mo. She lives with her husband, Michael, and daughters, Paige and Annie.
After 16 years with Husch Blackwell, Amber Steinbeck '95 has started her own law firm, Steinbeck Law, in Kansas City. She will be doing general litigation and handling insurance matters.
John Dunning II '98 was married June 18, 2014, to Robert Waite. Bill Dunning '00, Angie Dunning '00, and Brad Stipcak '00 were in attendance. John is an adjunct teacher and substitute teacher for Arizona Connections Academy and Teachers on Call in Mesa, Ariz. John and Robert reside in Glendale, Ariz.
Philip '99 and Janelle (Snider) '99 Ranford moved to Lone Tree, Colo., where Philip was named principal at Sand Creek Elementary in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Janelle will be teaching sixth grade science at Soaring Hawk Elementary in Castle Rock.
Jason Gavan '01 and his wife, Vamsi, are proud parents of a daughter, Mira Sophia Gavan, born Jan. 26, 2014. They live in Columbia, Mo., where Jason is a commercial real estate agent for House of Brokers Commercial Realty Group. Jason will also begin offering business succession planning and business brokering services this year.

Melissa Klocke '03 teaches at Kirksville R-III School District. She lives in Kirksville, Mo., with her children, Alyssa and Konner. Melissa completed her master's degree in 2006.
Leslie (Dobyns) '07 and Phil '07 Forrester moved to Springfield, Mo., where Leslie is the executive director of the Springfield Regional Arts Council and Phil is an adjunct professor of music at Ozarks Technical Community College.

Chris Haverstick '08 has moved to Lewisville, Texas, where he is a commercial officer with Independent Bank. His wife, Kori, is a fourth grade teacher with Coppell ISD. They have a son, Paxton, born Jan. 11, 2014.

Dakota McKee '12 graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2014 with a Masters of Education degree in counseling and student affairs. She recently moved to Las Cruces, N.M., where she accepted a position at New Mexico State University as a resident director.
