ADMISSION COUNSELOR

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to join our professional team. The full-time, 12-month position of Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting students and guiding them through the college selection process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. A high energy level, goal-oriented, ability to write and speak clearly, and a sense of marketing are valued. Extensive telecounseling is also required.

ASSISTANT REGISTRAR AND ONLINE ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a full-time Assistant Registrar and Online Academic Advisor.  The Assistant Registrar and Online Academic Advisor will be responsible for advising online students, evaluating transcripts, processing and maintaining necessary student information in Jenzabar, and assisting with the day to day activities in the Registrar’s Office.  This positon will also serve as the liaison to the Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU).   Skills and abilities needed include: a service-oriented perspective; the ability to manage detailed automated student records; the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with college students, faculty, and staff; the ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing, applying and interpreting policies and procedures; the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; the ability to negotiate problems with sensitivity and concern for the student and the college. 

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and must have knowledge of academic programming and online student support services.  One year of experience in recruitment, retention, program planning, enrollment management, online student services, or academic support methods preferred.  Must have one to three years of experience in office administrative procedures, must be able to follow detailed written or oral instructions and most be able to make independent decisions.

DIRECTOR OF ADMISSION

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to lead our professional team of Admission Counselors and support staff. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for attracting students to Culver-Stockton College by directing admission strategies and promoting the institution both regionally and nationally. The Admission Director is a member of the President’s Senior Leadership Group, and has a significant role in strategic planning and administrative leadership and guides the Admission staff in ways that align with the College’s vision, mission and strategic initiatives. 

Culver-Stockton is a private, residential College nationally recognized through academics and athletics, located on 140 acres overlooking the Mississippi River. Over 1,050 students from 26 states and 18 countries engage in our distinctive experiential curriculum. As one of two colleges in the nation with a unique 12-week/3 week semester calendar, students have endless opportunities for hands-on experience. Over the past few years the College has surpassed both enrollment and fundraising goals. 

A bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience and recruitment required, preferably in higher education. Successful candidates will have strong organizational and management skills with an established record of leadership and must have unquestioned integrity, self-confidence and creativity. The Admission Director must be able to demonstrate success in managing third party vendors and must have the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously. This position will require occasional travel, including overnight and some evenings and weekends may be necessary.

GENERAL LABORER

Culver-Stockton College has a part time General Laborer position open in the Physical Plant. This is an entry level position that will perform routine general labor by collecting and transporting solid waste and recycling materials on campus for disposal. The General Laborer will assist with other work in the Physical Plant such as general maintenance work, grounds keeping, snow removal, housekeeping as well as other duties as necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.

Qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb ladders and stairs and lift 50 pounds. The General Laborer has frequent contact with faculty, staff and students and must be able to provide a quality service without creating a major disruption to campus life.

Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Head Men’s & Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country Coach. C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12/3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC will field 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

In Accordance with all NAIA, and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Head Men’s & Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the entire operation of the track and cross country programs, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of student-athletes, contest scheduling, practice and contest planning, player skill development, academic monitoring, office/budget management and general oversight of a selected athletic facility. 

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree or significant experience in track or cross country, Master’s Degree preferred. Qualified candidates will have experience as a successful collegiate/pro athlete, have experience coaching at the collegiate level (preferably 5 years or more), and have the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes. The successful candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success and compliance with NAIA, and institutional policies and procedures. Salary will commensurate with experience and C-SC also offers a competitive benefits package.
