ADMISSION COUNSELOR

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to join our professional team. The full-time, 12-month position of Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting students and guiding them through the college selection process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. A high energy level, goal-oriented, ability to write and speak clearly and a sense of marketing are valued. Extensive telecounseling is also required.

A bachelor’s degree and current driver’s license are required, as well as the willingness to travel and work some evenings/weekends.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS

Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. This is a full-time position with a possibility to be tenure-track in a dynamic experientially-based business program. The college seeks a generalist with a background in management and marketing. This position will also advise students in business administration and marketing degrees. Other courses taught will depend on the individual’s background but may include entry-level economics. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, committee work and assisting in student recruitment.  

We are seeking a dynamic teacher and collaborative colleague eager to participate in the life of the college. C-SC faculty are committed to teaching excellence, participate in faculty governance, serve on college committees and assist with student recruitment.

Ph.D. is required for a tenure-track position; candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered for a renewable lecturer position. Successful teaching experience in the classroom and online preferred. Quality work experience is considered a tremendous asset. The successful candidate must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and experiential learning.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPEECH/THEATRE EDUCATION

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Speech/Theatre Education. This is a full-time tenure-track position beginning in the Fall of 2018. The Theatre Department offers BFA degrees in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Arts Management and baccalaureate degrees in Speech/Theatre Education and Theatre. This position requires a generalist in both theatre and communication with an emphasis in secondary speech/theatre education, rhetoric courses and directing. Other responsibilities may include overseeing our growing speech/theatre education degree and maintaining and building the College’s strong and established theatre and communication programs. Active recruiting of students to the College, academic advising and college committee work is also expected. 

Ph.D. or MFA and experience teaching at the secondary level are preferred, but ABD is accepted when combined with secondary teaching experience. The College is seeking an assistant professor with teaching experience, the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF THEATRE DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Theatre Design and Production. This is a full-time tenure-track position beginning in the Fall of 2018. The Theatre Department offers BFA degrees in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Arts Management and baccalaureate degrees in Speech/Theatre Education and Theatre. Teaching responsibilities include courses in stagecraft, lighting design and technology, scenic, costume, sound design and theatre appreciation. Production responsibilities include designing set, lights and sound for the department’s mainstage productions and/or supervising student designs for the mainstage. The candidate will oversee all technical aspects in collaboration with the department’s Facilities Manager/Assistant Technical Director. Active recruiting of students to the College, academic advising and college committee work is also expected. 

An MFA or equivalent terminal degree in Theatre Design and/or Theatre Production is required. The College is seeking an assistant professor with teaching experience, the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
