ADMISSION COUNSELOR

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to join our professional team.  The full-time, 12-month position of Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting students and guiding them through the college selection process.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.  A high energy level, goal-oriented, ability to write and speak clearly, and a sense of marketing are valued.  Extensive telecounseling is also required.

A bachelor’s degree and current driver’s license are required, as well as the willingness to travel and work some evenings/weekends.

COORDINATOR OF GIFT RECORDS AND STEWARDSHIP

 The Culver-Stockton College Advancement and Alumni Office is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Gift Records and Stewardship that will be responsible for timely processing of gifts from various constituencies.  Must be able to effectively handle and understand sensitivities of gift pledges, securities transfers, gifts-in-kind and other non-cash methods used by donors.  The Coordinator of Gift Records and Stewardship will work closely with the Administration and Finance Office to deposit and reconcile all gifts and ensure that proper documentation is included and available.  This position will also provide assistance to donors, students, faculty, and the general public by handling requests, answering questions, and other duties as necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.

 This is a 12-month, non-exempt position that requires a high-school diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and has three years relevant work experience in a professional office.  The qualified candidate must have experience in interpreting policies and standard practices that deal with information that is sensitive or highly confidential.  Must possess excellent problem solving skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills and have exceptional attention to detail.  Must have an advanced level of knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).

DINING SERVICES UTILITY WORKER

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for the position of Dining Services Utility Worker. This position will work in all areas of the dining services department and be responsible for cleaning general areas. The Utility Worker will assist other areas as needed and may fill in other positions as necessary and will work all shifts, including nights and weekends.

Minimum Requirements – Willing to work in college dining services setting and work varying shifts including nights and weekends. Proven ability to achieve a positive working relationship with all levels of employees and customers. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended period of time. Previous related experience or education is helpful.

HVAC and MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Culver-Stockton College has a full-time HVAC and Maintenance Technician position open in the Physical Plant. The HVAC and Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing HVAC services and assisting with other skilled trades. It is the job of the HVAC and Maintenance Technician to identify repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment and ensuring that tools and materials are available. The HVAC and Maintenance Technician will also perform maintenance duties as necessary, including preventative maintenance, repair and the completion of work orders on a daily basis as well as other duties as necessary to advance the mission and goals of the College.

Qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and have a minimum of three years HVAC experience and have an electrical certification or significant electrical experience. Must have an in depth understanding of general maintenance functions and issues related to building systems, equipment and general maintenance. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb ladders and stairs and lift 100 pounds. The HVAC and Maintenance Technician has frequent contact with faculty, staff and students and must be able to provide a quality service without creating a major disruption to campus life.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a Student Accounts Specialist. This is a non-exempt, 12-month position that serves as the initial contact for the Student Financial Services Office providing professional and positive customer service, assisting students with information related to student accounts, and serving as cashier in collection of all college funds. Responsibilities include accurate and timely maintenance of student accounts including student billing and other activities needed to maintain student accounts.

Required qualifications include a high-school diploma plus a minimum of two years relevant formal training or work experience beyond high school. Accounting experience preferred. Requires experience in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets, proficiency with calculators, computers and other office machines. Possesses the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in the performance of job duties.
