ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. This is a full-time position with a possibility to be tenure-track in a dynamic experientially-based business program. The College seeks a generalist with a background in healthcare or healthcare administration. This position will teach courses in the dimensions of healthcare as well as advise students in a healthcare administration degree. Other courses taught will depend on the individual’s background but may include entry-level economics and/or management-related courses. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, committee work and assisting in student recruitment.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF GRAPHIC DESIGN

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning in the fall of 2019. Primary responsibilities include developing and teaching all levels of graphic design course offerings, design history and web/interactive design. Prior teaching experience and a record of professional/creative practice (exhibitions and publications) are strongly desired. Candidates should have exceptional credentials as a graphic designer and possess high energy and a genuine commitment to teaching graphic design and digital media at the college level. Proficiency with the Mac platform and Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Suite are required. A strong commitment to academic advising is expected.

CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINER

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time, 10-month position of Certified Athletic Trainer. C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12/3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC fields 19 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist with the planning, organization, coordination and management of proper health care to intercollegiate student-athletes. This includes, but is not limited to assisting in the operation of the athletic training facility, facilitating prevention programs, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. The Athletic Trainer will serve as the primary athletic trainer for the team(s) to which they are assigned and will be responsible for all medical coverage for these teams. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, event coverage, occasional travel with assigned athletic team(s) and other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. This position offers the opportunity for team coverage in intercollegiate athletics, athletic training room operation experience, close interaction with the team physician and experience as a clinical preceptor to students within our CAATE accredited Master’s in Athletic Training program.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in athletic training, Master’s Degree preferred; BOC certified; athletic training licensed through the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts, or eligible; First Aid/CPR certification for the Professional Rescuer; Experience with EMR’s. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work with a wide variety of students, parents and coaches, have the ability to effectively treat and rehabilitate sports related injuries, and must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

COORDINATOR OF MULTICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESIDENCE LIFE

Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Multicultural Development and Residence Life. This position is a central member of the Student Life team with primary strategic direction for the areas of multicultural and international programming with live on campus responsibilities. This position works with minority student populations on campus in advising through their college career while also being responsible for the celebration, education and empowerment of the diverse cultures at Culver-Stockton College. The Coordinator of Multicultural Development and Residence Life continually works to promote inclusion, acceptance, respect, empowerment and appreciation of all diversity by providing vision and direction for diverse/international student retention. This position serves as the Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS and assist the Assistant Registrar who serves as the Primary DSO (PDSO). 

The Coordinator of Multicultural Development and Residence Life will serve as an officer in addressing student issues by adjudicating documented code of conduct violations and behavioral misconduct as directed by the Dean of Students. This position will work with the Director of Residence Life to implement the following operations and functions of residence life: room assignments, check in/check out procedures, damage assessments, cleaning and safety inspections, maintenance request and space selection.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Higher Education or related field is required, Master’s Degree preferred; along with one-two years of higher education experience (graduate experience is acceptable).

DIRECTOR OF ADMISSION

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to lead our professional team of Admission Counselors and support staff. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for attracting students to Culver-Stockton College by directing admission strategies and promoting the institution both regionally and nationally. The Admission Director is a member of the President’s Senior Leadership Group, and has a significant role in strategic planning and administrative leadership and guides the Admission staff in ways that align with the College’s vision, mission and strategic initiatives. 

Culver-Stockton is a private, residential College nationally recognized through academics and athletics, located on 140 acres overlooking the Mississippi River. Over 1,050 students from 26 states and 18 countries engage in our distinctive experiential curriculum. As one of two colleges in the nation with a unique 12-week/3 week semester calendar, students have endless opportunities for hands-on experience. ELECTRONIC SPORTS (Esports) HEAD COACH

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to lead the esports program. The Esports Head Coach has the primary responsibility of instructing student athletes on esports and also has the responsibility to provide leadership in player development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development. The Esports Head Coach is responsible for the entire operation of the eports program, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of esports players, contest scheduling, practice and contest planning, player skill development, academic monitoring, office/budget management and general oversight of the esports facility as well as other duties necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.

A Bachelor’s degree is required and/or coaching/playing at an elite level of competition. Previous esports coaching in higher education or similar program development preferred. Must have the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education. Must have PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), PowerPoint, Internet and email. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree or significant experience in the sport of golf. Qualified candidates will have experience as a successful collegiate participant in golf, preferably experience coaching at the collegiate level, and have the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes. The successful candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success and compliance with NAIA, and institutional policies and procedures.

HOUSEKEEPER/CUSTODIAN

Culver-Stockton College has an immediate opening for a full time Housekeeper/Custodian. One of Culver-Stockton College’s main goals is to provide a clean, sanitary and safe environment where the College community can learn, teach, work and visit. The Housekeeper/Custodian plays an integral part in reaching this goal. This position is one of trust and importance in securing a satisfactory environment of the College campus.

The Housekeeper has the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of the internal and external campus. Housekeeping services that may be performed include cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing the floors and other surfaces as well as the refinishing, waxing and polishing of floors, tile work and other various floor and wall surfaces in stairways, hallways, restrooms, offices, laboratories, recreation and locker rooms. 

The candidate must also be prepared for physically demanding activities and be able to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently and to lift and carry weights of up to 75 pounds. Excellent teamwork and people skills are critical due to frequent contact and interaction with faculty, staff and students.
