- Areas commonly combined with this program include: pre-physical therapy, pre-medicine and biology.
- Experience hands-on training in the classroom, as well as in a clinical environment.
- Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
- The course "Sport Medicine Clinical Practices and the Elite Athlete" provides the opportunity to study in Colorado Springs at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
- Students can select from predetermined internship sites or submit a selection for approval.
- Organizational and administrative issues specific to the athletic training setting are also studied.
- Successful completion of this program provides eligibility for students to take the Board of Certification examination.
