ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

(Advancement and Alumni Office)

The Culver-Stockton College Advancement and Alumni Office is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant that will provide executive assistance to the Vice President for Advancement and support for other alumni and advancement activities. This is a 12-month, non-exempt position that will play a key role in the effectiveness of the office by helping to manage all administrative functions including large scale data sets, maintaining data integrity, fiscal management of the office, and help with the day to day operations of the office. This person is often the first contact for visitors to the campus and must be willing to provide great customer service. 

A high-school diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, along with two years of experience in a professional office setting. The qualified candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and must be able to work independently or as a member of a team. This position will work occasional nights and weekends as needed.

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Development Officer (DO) that will report directly to the Senior Director for Advancement and Alumni Relations.  The Development Officer will be working in close collaboration with a highly talented development team and the Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with prospective donors, developing strategies for their cultivation, and soliciting gifts at both the major gift and leadership gift level.  An average of five face-to-face donor contacts weekly in addition to phone and email contacts will be expected as well as other duties as necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree (graduate or professional degree preferred) and will have 5+ years of formal development experience, preferably in higher education; however, those with a similar record of professional service and who exhibit the knowledge of and skills for professional development work will receive careful consideration.

In addition, the successful candidate should be highly collaborative in approach, demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills necessary for building relationships with various college constituents, both internal and external. Qualified applicants must have a professional background of meeting established goals and objectives in a timely manner related to the areas of sales, marketing or fundraising.  Some evening and weekend commitments will be required as well as the ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, as necessary.

DINING SERVICES WORKER (Part-Time)

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a part-time Dining Services Worker that will work during the academic year (10 months). This position will work alternating day and evening hours and shifts would include 7:00am – 2:00pm and/or 3:00pm – 7:30pm.   This position will work in all areas of the foodservice area but will primarily work as a dishwasher. This position must remain friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable of all areas in the dining room. Will help with maintaining the dining room cleanliness, will clean the tables with sanitizer and help stock the dining room and assist in other areas as necessary. 

Minimum Requirements – Willing to work in college dining services setting. Proven ability to achieve a positive working relationship with all levels of employees and customers. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Previous related experience or education is helpful.

DESIGN & DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

The Web & Digital Media Manager is a marketing professional, experienced in many facets of media and design, including coordinating Culver-Stockton's website infrastructure, and organizing design, photography and videography projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional office environment, both as a member of a collaborative team and also individually.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing dynamic content within the College’s CMS, designing marketing/advertising materials across all media including magazines, newspapers, direct mail and graphics for emails, websites, social media and other online channels. All media must be created with respect to the College's mission and brand. 

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in graphic or web design, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Qualified personnel will be comfortable providing leadership and expertise for marketing projects and creating press-ready specifications for print companies. A strong foundation in design, photography and communications is expected using design and editing software including Adobe applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Dreamweaver).
